Further to our recent announcement, at Hisfame Outreach CIC, we are proud to announce the commencement of our another series of free weekly community empowerment programme: EmpowerTech.
The EmpowerTech project aims to bridge digital divide and enhance employability especially among disadvantaged members of the community through comprehensive digital and technology training; online safety education; and employability mentoring. This is a 12-month funded project that targets at least 160 participants; providing them with digital essential skills; and guidance on managing wellbeing and mental health. All members of the community, especially the disadvantaged community members; including those on low incomes; will benefit from enhanced digital literacy; improved employability prospects; and increased mental health awareness and support. Increased awareness of cybersecurity and online safety will support efforts to make our local community safe.
